I did a water change on my 75 and forgot to turn the filter back on. I just plugged it back in. Should I be worried about the bb in the canister? It's been about 30 hours.

Hi ehh, that's a pretty long time, you have more than one filter yes? like an hob? usually that will hold you over. I would be doing water tests the next 2 days.

Hi pops. I just have the xp3 running on it. I'll monitor it. I would think that because the canister is full of water the bb would be ok but 30 hours is a long time.

the bio filter needs oxygen just like your fish. I dowt it all died but enough may have to put you into a mini cycle. you should have at least 2 filters on your tank, redundancy is a good thing.

Damn it. That's what i was afraid someone would tell me. I have a second canister, a 306. But I never plugged it in because the Rena was holding it down.

either way let me know, curious if it put you in a mini cycle or not.

Yeah I'd put some ammonia binding chems in just in case, don't want your fish getting burns if it does mini-cycle
