It is illegal to cast net , and gillnet on a river by my house?
There a river by my house it just a 1 or 2 minute walk to over there. Another question?

Technically yes but literally everyone on here who keeps natives does it anyways and catches and keeps fish. So......

Best way to find out is contact your DNR, or look in the fishing book your state hands out every year.

Some states it's illegal, some states aren't, best to ask first, just because others may do it, doesn't mean you should take the chance.
