i dont no what kind of eel this is

can anybodt tell me what type of eel this is i am going to get one they are so cool looking they are freshwater.

they are not true freshwater eels. if you are going to keep it in pure freshwater, make sure the pH is at least 8.0.

that's some type of Moray, there's a ton of different moray species out there that get from 1 foot to 8 feet. like phatboy said, they aren't freshwater.

they are more brackish and can also go full salt. they will NOT last too long in Freshwater
