This has been the worst weekend I have had in quite some time...
I will start with the small stuff first...
1. I drove 4 hours to pick up $300+ worth of various tropical fish. The ornate bichir ($30) jumped out of the tank after 24 hours. Then, my $280 10" tig never acclimated, and died about 48 hours later... and no, I can't get a refund. That's the downside of buying from hobbyists.
2. I didn't get my promotion at work because of a stupid student loan that's defaulted and on my credit.. the catch.. it's not my student loan. I've been dealing with this since September, and have been going in circles. So now, I'm sucking it up and paying a debt that isn't mine simply so I can get my promotion.
3. One of my friends was murdered by her ex Tuesday... not only was she murdered, she was 18 weeks pregnant- and already has a 2 year old daughter. The daughters father is the ex. I also worked with her ex for quite some time, and my best friend whom I work with just stopped dating him 2 months ago. He was found in his apartment sleeping with her body.
