I'm not sure if this has ever been addressed, but I'm curious...

How many of you have dreams about your fish dying or your set-up malfunctioning?

I have fairly regular anxiety dreams (maybe once a month or so) about something going terribly wrong with my piranha. Most common are dreams like this...

I go to my tank and look around. I notice something usual floating through the water. It doesn't take long for me to realize it's the head of one of my piranha, severed by some other hungry fish. I feel guilty because I "realize" I haven't fed them in a few days. It's my fault that the fish are mutilated. Another fish clings to life, a hole bored entirely through it's quivering body. It's a strangely neat hole, but I know it's a deadly injury.

I know I'm not the only one that cares enough to worry. I'm curious to hear other people's fish-keeping nightmares...

I sometimes have dreams of catastrophe striking my gars.

Even worse is 'the walk of dread' that years in this hobby has made instinct for me. This is when you enter your room with your eyes to the floor, scanning for fish that have jumped (aro and gar keepers have this habit) also you look down sometimes expecting water to be everywhere.

I once woke up, and forgot my window was open...

I could hear the sound of water slowly pooring and my hand was slightly wet. I quickly jumped out of bed in a panic then realized it was just raining :)
