OK, so one of my female mollies lookes like she has a prolapsed Uterus. Basicaly meaning it looks like her uterus is falling out of her body. I figure there isn't anything that i can do about it at this point but i figured i would try anyway. So anyone got any ideas? she is definately acting like she is feeling bad, but then again if my uterus was falling out i dont think i would feel to hot either. This is the one thing that really bugs me about live breeders, the males chase the females to death or the females die because of a bad birthing. I have never had this particular problem thought.

I have heard of fish recovering from a prolapsed anus but never from a prolapsed uterus. Especially with a fish that small I am afraid any attempt to press the prolapse back into place would be fatal.

I just left her alone to nature, and she died some time last night. Although she was just a mollie she had been born in my tank almost exactly a year ago, and i do get attached to my fish.

I am so sorry for your loss. I just lost 6 large fancy goldfish. I can feel your pain.

My condolences.
