I fed my Pacu broccoli yesterday...

And today I found a huge mound of poop under the DIY PVC overflows.

Usually the current is enough to push her poop up into the overflows, but this stuff is big and dense. It's just kinda sitting there. I'm assuming it's the fiber? And there's A LOT of it... like two big fistfuls.

So yeah... if any of your fish have trouble pooping... broccoli. It works.

Ugh... gotta clean this stuff up.

pacus are vegetarians..they love all kinds of veggies.. i gave mine small pieces of chopped up carrots.. you could hear them chewing through the glass.. they are fond of grapes.. one half green grape is a great treat.. and of course zuchinni, and even a peanut once in awhile.. they have big teeth so they like to chew.. then i would give some hikari pellets as their staple in the diet..

broccoli. It works.

Broccoli makes me bloated, that's why I have never given it to my fish.. that's rediculous.. right?!?!? You think it would be ok for my BP's & a couple of Africans that I have.. ?
