hey, all. my LFS ordered a small silver arowana from a breeder, and instead of a 3" aro, they got a 12" monster! they have it in a 55G with some discus, and the poor thing is very nervous, and every time you make sudden movements near the tank he smacks into the side of the tank... he can barely turn around.... my LFS doesn't know what to do, they know it's only a matter of time until he eats the discus, but they can't give him back. oh, how I wish i had a 300G... i feel like crying every time I see the poor guy in there....

He has quite a while before he can eat discuss. Chances are he'll sell inside a couple weeks.. Our lfs gets around 5 every few months around that size and they are gone in aroudn 2 months.. And thats 5 of them.. he usually gets 6-7 but one or two die before the second day.
Considering where FC lives I dont see it selling quite that fast. Get out there and shovel more snow!!!!!!! You'll have that 300 gal before ya know it 
this is true... plus my LFS is a caring one, so they're no just going to sell it to any little kid, and the tag is $120!
