I got my 29 cleared out for this guy. It’s only 3-4” long, but looks very healthy. I plan on keeping it in my 29 BB to grow it out to 8-10” and then I’ll put it in my 220.

Any suggestions on what to feed it? I got some small red wigglers, and I still have some frozen bloodworms. I’m hoping I can get it on the red wigglers and beef it up pretty quick. Eventually, I want to get it onto the same stuff I feed my other fish. So, I’m hoping it will get to like frozen market shrimp, frozen tilapia, frozen krill, night crawlers, and massivore.

So, what do you all think?

You can feed the small Endli the same foods just cut them in small pieces.

Nice pick up.

Yeah they really won't swim away from you if you get close. Mine doesn't, at least. I feed mine mostly sinking shrimp pellets. He will also eat sinking Hikari carnivore pellets, if my pbass doesn't eat them first (which is very rare).

Most pellets should have enough protein for your Endli. I currently feed my Polys Hikari Gold, and both the Ornate and Teugelsi are pushing 12". I also feed them tilapia every week or two as a treat, which is always a good way to get them out of hiding.
