I forgot how cool Oscars are

I bought my first Oscar in since 1994 back in September and this guy is awesome, now that I’m older and have the means to care for one properly, I’m really appreciating this awesome cichlid. He’s about 6” now and was just under 2” when I bought him.

As far as monster wet pets go, Oscars are definitely one of the more manageable types.

You should put it at the front of your list. Large cichlids are pretty endearing. My Gold Saum knows i'm the one that feeds him and thinks my kids are edible.

1000 percent on the Cool factor. O's are a trip and a half. Just when you think you've figured them out they flip the switch.

I have a pair. Mine are pushing rocks around in the dark as I speak. They crack me up.
