So I'm lookin into my aquarium under the driftwood I see brown thing so I'm sayin to myself what is that? So I look closer and it's my chaca chaca catfish. I definitely forgot about him always hiding.

Good thing you didn't empty the aquarium, Chaca Chacha cat is one of my favourites. :)

I forgot about a pleco once. Freaked me out when I was moving things around and this little brown thing starts darting all over the place XD

I had a 5 inch black shark a long time ago and one day he just went missing about 2 months later I was cleaning my filter out and I dumped the old water out in the bath tube to my suprise a little black fish popped out and he was alive! He even grew a little bit he lived in that filter for over 2 months crazy..lol

I had a small catfish, not even sure of the type, I've seen the guy like twice.

I bought him a few years ago at the LFS. I never saw him and assumed he was killed and eaten. I moved and put all my driftwood in a 5gal pail full of water with a lid.

I put all my driftwood back in my tank at the new apartment and I saw the little guy in the bottom of the pail. He hitchhiked inside a crevice in the driftwood.

I saw him again a while ago at night when I was checking my thermometer with the lights off. So the little guy is good at hiding and obviously nocturnal.

Reminds me of stories my old man told me about finding big fat kuhli loaches living under his UGF plates when he broke a very old tank down.

Crazy to think about these little guys in the wild if they can hide in a small box of water thats the focal point of my living room... and never be discovered

My bumblebee cat would always hitchhike in my DW. I thought my polys ate him. He was always hiding and I never saw him unless I went to the tank in the middle of the night. Sneaky little guy.

Lol, my BumbleBee is exactly the same way!! Never see him unless I
take out my driftwood! Cool cat, don't think he's grown though :(
Another funny thing is when I do see him, he usually has a little belly on him, have no idea what he's eating.
