I found a great LFS and I couldn’t be happier

I’ve been out of the hobby for some time now and just made my way back. After moving from Cali to the east coast for school I knew this would be my only chance to finally take care of piranhas. I originally was going to go with something like a mixed pygo shoal. So one day I sat down on the computer and googled aquarium stores near me and ended up calling like 30 places. Out of those 30 only like 2 carried piranhas and basically only the common red bellies. I ended up getting lucky and found a really special LFS that had some of the most interesting and rare species that I’ve only seen in pictures on mfk and YouTube. I took some pictures and was in awe seeing them in person, I felt like I found a gem especially in these current times we’re living in where every lfs has a shortage of fish. I ended up leaving with a manuelli and can’t wait to see him grow . That feeling of when I was a kid walking into Petco seeing and learning about all the different cichlids came back. Nice fish selection indeed. And that is just those you chose to photograph!
Their choice of gravel colors is horrendous, however.
It is certainly a wonderful thing to have good LFSs nearby. Although there are a couple good ones within reasonable distance from me now, I miss stores at places I lived before, and the relationships I developed with them.
Show us sometime your setup with the manueli? Awesome fish!

That is so cool. It's awesome to run into an awesome lfs. Congrats on the Manuelli Piranha, those are so cool and my dream P. They get gorgeous as they mature.
