Okay so i was cleaning my 75g today, and i lift up a rock structure, and i see a bunch of little tiny fish.
I think there my Yellow Lab Cichlid, and the other Yellow (dont know what kind it is) Cichlid.

Now there super tiny, not even really swiming around yet.

What do i do!?!
I know theyll get eaten, because the tank is filled with other fish.

I want to put them in my 25g ASAP.
Will someone tell me how to get them out of there?

Should i take out all the other fish, and put them in somthing...then take the little ones out..or what??

When i do transfer them into another tank, what do i feed them?
How big do they have to be until i transfer them.

Thanks guys.

siphon them out slowly into a clean bucket, then transfer to the other tank. using water from the main tank will ease the transition. being dumped into completely new water may be a shock to such young fish. feed baby brine shrimp if you have it, or a fry food or finely ground flake. you want it to be ground into a powder, no lumps.

Do i siphon them out with a python??

ROFLMAO, I about fell of my chair literally when i read what you typed. Sorry but it was just to funny. NO do not use the python to suck them out. Use a short hose (we all have extra hose laying around) And start the siphon with you mouth (No dont spit them into the other tank either, lol) sorry, couldnt resist. Once the siphon is started put the draining end into a little bucket until they (fry) are all out or the bucket is getting fully. Then dump them into the other tank gently. Good luck and post pics. I have bred yellow labs for sometime now.. and to this day i still enjoy watching them breed

no, that would be too far to travel. do you have anything shorter? or even a turkey baster?

Umm, i might..i probably do

okay...i have a turkey baster.

So, now i just suck them up, and squirt them out?

okay, well i got 2 of them...the rest sadly got eaten.

So lets hope they live!

This is a silly question but are yellow labs electric yellows?
