I get 4 sp Peru 26.5 , tips?

I get 4 sp peru on wednesday the 26, wildcought and from the river. They are going to go with some Discus i have in a 720l growout tank. Its filtered over 2xfx5 and internal Fluval4+, should be enought..?

I have 4 healthy Motoros in another tank, would it be an idea to take the smallest of them up in the tank im gonna have the sp perus? I am thinking about breaking them into new foods, since the motoros eat everything i put in..So i was thinking it might be easyer to break the wildies?
 
plus you are going to want to treat for parasites and it prolly wont be a good idea to add the motoro during the first few weaks.
 
The exporter guarante for paracites, so i hope it wont be any problem. But i see that one, putting a healthy motoro could be risky. About the biolod, i see that one, but they are only 5-6 Inches, so its not big fishes.I will keep an good eye on water. I added the 4 motoros without a problem.

best of luck, keep up with the water changes, better to go overboard than underboard when adding a bulk of rays.
 
they might be small as far as rays go but they are no small fish and yes they are going to be producing a good amount of bioload. i would do at least 25% daily water changes so your filters can catch up.
 
Either way, just watch your levels. Im pretty sure if you don't start waterchanging more frequently, yur filters wont be able to catch up. 4 new pups is a pretty big bioload. I'd also advise you treat for parasites just in case. Who knows whether or not those exporters actually treated for them or not. No harm in dosing the whole tank in prazi.
 
Prazi is not easy to come upon in norway as they dont sell it here.. we have to order from overboard, any good places i could order from? Good stuff to have in house.. At this moment i have 4 10inch motoro in 720l with 1x eheim 2080 and 100l filterbackground, waterchange 2 times a week 50%.. I have had some nitrit spikes, were it has gone to between 0-0,3ml\l somethimes.. tank has bin up and running for 4 months, do i have to little filter? i myselfe think it is very big filter.. Over 100l.
 
100l filter background im not sure what that is but im guessing some kind of small sump or something. it dosent really sound like you have enough. those rays are throwing some massive bio loads and you need to be turning that tank over anywhere from 5-10 times over each hour. there is no such thing as going overboard with filtration. you keep saying these are small fish but i have never seen a fish that is small take huge dumps like these guys do. hell what big fish is doing it? they produce alot of waste so beef up the filtration.
 
Filter bakground is like a internal sump yes.. Pangea rock background with bio and filter behind..They are not small, but small compared to what they can be :)
