I got a DSLR

It's my birthday tommorrow and guess what my kids and thier wonderful mother got me for a present. A DSLR. A Cannon EOS450D
This shot is just a quick one without flash. Still a bit grainy as I had to up the ISO with only 1 light strip above this tank for light.
This soon will be no problem as I have already ordered an overhead flash(present to myself..hehe)which should be here in 2 days.
I am looking foward to taking some better shots in the future with the remote flash

DSLR's are great. once you get the hang of them and their manual functions you can get some amazing shots. did you do some research into different cameras? i'd love to get some overhead remote flashes for my Nikon too

I had done a little. She knew which cam I was looking at but I wasn't looking at getting it for a while. Gotta love a good woman
