I got a mutt...again

So roughly a week and half ago I was at petsmart and saw a fish in their Dempsey tank which clearly wasn't a Dempsey so I thought why the heck not. Now that it's settled I've come to the conclusion it's a Texas mutt or flower mutt.
Now question what's the average growth rate on Texas mixes?

put some light in front of the fish so we can see the fish. Back ground is bright and horrible
