AND SORRY FOR THE CAPS

So wait, you know that caps aren't a good thing to use, and you are sorry for using them. Why use them in the first place?

Anyway, what's in the tank? How big is the tank? Fish playing on the surface might splash some out, but I doubt your stand would be dry.. the carpet being wet says maybe you have a leak. You'd be surprised how much water could be soaked into your carpet pad (under the carpet) with the carpet surface feeling dry. And if your house has particle board flooring (many do), that stuff can soak up water like a sponge.

Ok the caps was on and by the time I realised it I was half ways done didn't wanto to delete it .and the tank is 60 gallons and my fish are to small to splash 20 gallons out. Ass for the carpet can it really hide that much water cuz I have a a carpet cleaner and I used it to suck the water up but nothing cameout where could it have gone is it possible for it to drain in to the ground underneath the house . Ok I have ? Y is it wrong to use caps is that just another stupid rule

1. It's not proper netiquette, yes, it's a real word :)
2. This isn't a text message.
3. This isn't MySpace.
4. It's hard to read.

^ What they said. :) It's just generally considered to be yelling or impolite on a forum.

It's possible that it could have soaked through under the house. If you have access under the house, might go with a flashlight and see if the ground is wet underneath.

Are there any fans running in the room? Water spread over a large area will evaporate pretty fast too. I assume we're talking a period of 6 or 8 hours. Might check the carpet along the edges of the room too. That much water could have channeled almost anywhere.

Did you fill the tank back up yet to see if it happens again?

Yeah I did fill it up the water is still at the same level I will check under the house. And thanks for the heads up y caps should not be used I knew people did like caps but never new why. Thanks
