I got a new clown knife

I have 2 questions I just got him today would he be compatible with a peacock bass? And he is just sitting in 1 spot is this normal?

Yea, as soon as the lights go outhewill get alot more active. Knifefish are nocturnal. Mine sits in acouple differnt spots through the day, but when the lights go outhes constantly out cruising around the tank.
