I GOT A NEW FISHY

So now in my 150gallon tank I have a big pleco, a florida gar, and the newly added Armoured Polypterus I was wondering what would be a good diet to put the poly on. thanks

Mine eat anything and everything. Flake, (they are small) pellet, shrimp, tilapia, algae wafers, blood worms... yea pretty much anything that floats their way

My old Senegal went absolutely nuts for freeze-dried krill. I would drop a few pieces in, and as they floated around in the filter stream, she would stalk them, hunt them down, and attack them so hard that her head would fly out of the water. What kind of Bichir is it? Armored usually means Delhezi.

im pretty sure it is a delhezi. the store only had him labeled as an armoured polypterus

they eat most anything, but the pleco and gar wont work. even if they are good now, the pleco will eventualy turn on the gar and begin sucking its slime coat eventualy leading to infection and death.

Each pellet is almost the same calories as 2 goldfish so it makes a great alternative\


only con is it can sometimes be expensive
