today when i checked my minnow trap I had a nice 1 inch bluegill in there so i took my 2 crays out of 1 of my 10gals so i could keep him. Also a little update of the crappie i still havnt got him off live foods but i did go ahead and add him to the 120gal maybe he will learn from the bass :D. The other 10 gal has now become my cray tank and i have a male and female cray in there. Soon i will get a new 10 gal for the creek tank ;)

well we got some new fish for are school tanks we got 2 channels, 3 perch, and 3 hybrid bluegills. Cant get pics of them for a few weeks tho.
 
Did you all catch the new fish for the school or did you buy them? If you caught them it would seem unusual to have that many hybrids. I know a lot of times if a fish is colored a little differently or is washed out, especially in young fish, folks have a tendancy to call them hybrids whether they are or not.

no they were bought, I didnt buy them tho the teacher did.
 
went netting in my pond today I got a bunch of tadpoles (120 gal fish treat) a species of dwarf crayfish or a baby virilis but looks like a dwarf, i also got some kind of small topminnow or killfish which i added to the 10 gal with the bluegill.
 
Have you ever seen a mother cray carrying young?? very interesting, about 50 or so hanging to the underside of her tail, little tiny replicas of mama, Kept one and the kids for awhile, they loved chopped nightcrawler, and mom would take a whole one to eat at her leisure:D

no i havnt seen it yet but i have a pair just a matter of time and experimentation :D
