earlier i was told that my 25" aro ate my ornate head first, my uncle saw it and immediately tried to get the ornate out of my aro's mouth. it is approximately 16". when it eventually regurgitated my ornate but my uncle told me it was only sitting at the floor of the tank upside down but is breathing. he transferred my ornate temporarily to my 30g. when i came home it is breathing but was barely moving. now my problem is that as we all know all bichirs need to go to the surface and gulp air. my problem is it seemed paralyzed. i transferred it to an 8G tank with aeration but the water is really shallow to allow it to gulp air. am i doing the right thing? i still have to lift it every 20 mins or so to gulp air. i really have no remedy to its current situation.
