I say "maybe" . . . they are both Central American cichlids, and it looks like - - genetically speaking - - thorichthys and vieja cichlids are reasonably close to one another

I also voted YES.

Your best bet would be a big ole firemouth male and a very small mature vieja female. It would be a hard cross to make happen, but in my eyes possible.

Agree'd.. would be good if you can do it,
make breeding cond's perfect, and as stated.. Big firemouth male with small female..
Reason: male veija of breeding size will most likely just kill a small female meeki
