haha yeah i got myself a redhead problem haha
3 pairs, all with spawns

pair 1 - taking care of a giant spawn of 250-300. the fry are doing really well eating BBS and first bites. the reason they are taking care of so many fry is because i had a pair spawn in my main tank around the same time and i decided to strip the female that was holding and i dumped all the fry into this smaller tank because it was safer and they would have a chance to survive. this pair is very protective and the spawn is around 2.5 weeks old now and look to be around 3/8 of an inch and very fat and happy.
pair 2 - they just spawned over the weekend and they already have fry hatching. there seemed to be so many that even both parents couldn't hold them all - there were some in some of the sand pits and i think the parents rotate them in their mouths (clean them etc.)
i didn't get a good picture of the third pair but they share a divided 90 gallon with pair 2. they spawned on the same day as well and they are holding.
sooo looks like at some point in time i'll have around 600 redheads growing out for me hahaha... plus i have another 2 spare females in the main tank
so looks like it's gonna be interesting!
