I got a VIRUS! HELP!!

Hey MFKers. I need your help. My laptop picked up a trojan horse virus today. What can i do to get rid of this. I heard it's a new virus, that a pain in the arse. Should i re-format my laptop? any help and suggestion greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I've used avg for over 5 yrs no problems.

Whenever I get ahold of something nasty I just reformat. I don't keep anything of valued saved anyway. I recently reformatted and added the newest version of Firefox to browse the internet. It has a lot of useful applications like NoScript. This was a few months ago and my machine is as clean as can be.

once you get a trojan its hard to get out...i just reformat.
the only way is preventing it from ever happening before it does.
cause once you get it....its a pain...

it worked but, this virus is no joke, it just keeps on multiplying, and hiding. Every time i scan it, they still show up. i didnt see the delete. i hit "fixed checked" box. thanks for the help, any more suggestions?

got to download.com and download trojan destroyer (or some thing like that ) check most popular on that site it should be there ......i used it it was a miracvle
