Hi guys I got an 8" caribe. Today I shoaled him with my reds and so far so good, it seems this time it's gonna work!!!.

I made an 40% WC and rearrange the tank deco and planted it a little bit just for them to have more hiding spots:

In the meantime this bugger will wait apart til he is at least 5" to be included in the shoal and take his chances:

If you guys think RBP are some wimpies let me tell yo this:

The new cariba began facing some of the reds succesfully fighting here with one and there with another and winning making them escape running till he found himself with what I think is the alpha RBP of the shoal, they had a hard fight and the RBP set the caribe to run throughout all the tank and stablished his position as a leader....

Fortunately in all the fights they didn't suffer any harm just some scales loose.

What do you think about it guys?.

thats cool man, did you feed tthe reds first? its always good to do that, and also my caribes and terns hate the light, luckily i have hi-hats on the sealing(light fixtures), so i can dim the lights or make it bright for when i clean:D

Yes I fed the reds very well the previous night, when they eat to much they stop eatin one or two days.

Cheers.

its eye look HUGE in the second pic, lol
congrats man, but I like the way the smaller one looks better.

Once the P's resettle in the tank I am going to take more pictures, the bigger cariba looks good indeed too, however the pictures ain't so good.

Cheers.

I think RBP's are pretty bad ass man:headbang2

Yes they are, in fact my seller says that from his own experience, the RBP are meanest than the cariba, but that's just him.

My tankies have managed to deal with the cariba pretty good, now they live together as if they had been doing so all their life.

Cheers.
