I got babies!

So I noticed my Big German Red male and female hanging out a lot here recently, Male was really aggressive and took over a good 1/3 of my 6' tank. Well about a week ago I noticed my female not eating Sure enough she was holding. I moved her to a 10 gallon Sunday night, and when I went downstairs this morning to check on all my fishes I noticed her looking normal again but I didn't see any fry. I was upset, I thought she ate 'em, but upon a little closer look I saw about 10 fry in various corners of the tank!

Yea, I was really hoping these to would breed, I have so many other male peacocks in the tank, I really got lucky these two paired up!

i am not saying it happened ...because first time they usually have smaller amount of fry... but only 10 would make me suspicious that mom did eat the rest... and will eventually eat the last 10.... so i would keep a close eye on whats going on...and maybe remove her if nessasary....and big congradulations...

well mom is small starting to push 4", and the fry didn't have yolk sacks so I'm assuming she's had 'em longer than I though. And like I said I didn't move her until Sunday so some may have gotten eaten in the 125, but then again I didn't have much time to look this morning and there is some rockwork in the 10 gallon she's in so I may not have even seen them all. She's going back in the 125 tonight though.
