I got five of these..

P. Friedrichstahli. About 4-5 inches. Changing my cichlid tank to perch. I paid $14.00 each, willing to sell for $10 each or $40 for all, or give me something for trade. Looking for some plecos, or synodontis catfish.

Interesting. How close is it for both to look identical, and what are the differences?

Parachromis friedricksthalli has more dark/black spanglings and noticable black vertical bands on the body.

Parachromis loisellei has a long horizontal dark band across the body that slowly breaks into blotches that extends on the lower body. It does show the black vertical bands when stressed, but they usually come and go, not being a permenant feature on the fish.

I've only seen large size freddy's pictures but never a juvenile. So it is hard for me to tell at this size. I bought them as freddys, at 2 inches, and I've had them for three months now and so far, they only got to about 4-5 inches.
