So every saturday morning i get up early and go to lifetime fitness to play basketball for several hours, I got a sweet one handed put back dunk off a missed three pointer today
. my first one ever and Im happy about it. But I made the mistake of not checking on the tanks this morning like I usually do and it almost cost me. I came home around 1 pm and went directly to checking my tanks. All of them were fine except my jardini arowanas tank. It was extremely cloudy and I couldn't even see the other side of the 125 gallon.
She was on one side of the tank near the bottom and not swimming like she usually does. She had apparently thrown up her entire meal from the night before and the tank was filthy.
I have been meaning to move her over into the 700 gallon for a while now since I got it running but was hesitant because of how she would behave. Well I decided that now was the time I need to acclimate her and put her into the big tank so she has more room to swim. I spent the next hour drip acclimating her to the 700 and finally put her in. She is very active and swims all over the tank. She hasn't misbehaved yet but time will tell. Im just so thankful I didn't lose her because I would not forgive myself for not checking the tanks in the morning before I left. I tried to get some pics of her in the tank but she wouldn't come from the other side of the tank with me standing there. You can kinda make her out in the pic, its the best one I could get. also a pic of my niger cat getting in my face waiting for food. lol
