Friday night i was out and i came back at precisely the right time. My silver arowana had jumped out of the tank and was lying motionless on the floor. I was a little confused because all the lids were shut on the tank. I picked him up and immediately put him back in the tank but it was too late. or so i thought.... he rolled belly up, still not moving so I decided to see if i could milk him back to life. I held him gently in the current of my filtration for about 5 minutes and eventually he started to move his mouth and breath again. I was amazed, as I was convinced he was dead. The next morning he was fine as can be and is now doing great. I guess I'm to blame because i underestimated his size and strength. he is about a foot and the tank was completely covered but with no weight on top of the lid he was able to jump and open it. Now I have weights on top of the tank to prevent future mishaps. Lesson Learned!

Damn lucked out!!
