my new tank being built by tenecor is 10 x 3 x (2 tall) and is weeks away from being completed and shipped so i will report back with new pics when tank arrives

So teasing and looks like you have great plans, can't wait to see the full set up.
 
thanks yah cant wait to get the tank probably 5 weeks away . the canopy is resting on top and is turned upside down . i had them make it an open top with brackets to mount the lights i figured lids would be too heavy . will post pics when tank gets here

Did you consider the location of the overflow against the front to back bracing ?

My 10 footer is actually 121 3/4" long. Make sure you give yourself an extra bit of space.

I had to redo my stand for the overflows, one of the bulkhead hole was right on top of the bracing.
