I got scammed

Someone sold me an ultra LSP 550 watt pro psu (power supply) and then the seller disappeared (ran away)

The PSU is defective, it doesn't turn on the computer at all and I have the original box and etc.

The box labeled as lifetime warranty

I am wondering will I get a new replacement if I sent the defective PSU back to ULTRA's company

or not??? :(
 
Ultra are all defective products.. they are bad powersupply.. how much did u pay for one?
 
I know where he live, but I don't know where his living quarter is, because we did the trade at his apartment lobby

I pay $25 for it (lesson learned)
 
When I plugged in all the cables, the power goes thru (the keyboard and speakers lit up) but when I press the power button, it wouldn't turn on!

:(

and I am pretty sure I plugged in everything correctly (how hard can it be? it's only a few cables)

it still have the factory warranty sticker attached (not sure if I want to open it and fix it myself)

did u by chance reversed the connector for ur powerbutton with the motherboard... i did it once by accident.. no problem.. just i didnt connected correctly..

Also. u can test to see if the powersupply works by using another computer if u got one.. I did it once.. u should test it out on an operational computer and connect it with that powersupply..

If that doesnt. then ya.. defective powersupply..
 
I have used Ultra products. Yes, they will replace your deffective power supply. They are preety good about that. Its rare that they have defectives tho from what I have heard.

Hopefully you can get it taken care of
