I got this new blue crayfish. but he wants to cut the plants.

The rusty crayfish is illegal to keep now in my state. Its super aggressive nature puts it at advantage over other native species and has wiped out some fish species Even other crayfish species are pushed out where they are established as invasive. I microfish and can find a stretch of River with nothing but rusty crayfish under every single rock/weed beds. I can put my net and nothing will come up but many young rusty crayfish. This is how bad this species is compared to other crayfish species out there. Back then it wasnt illegal to keep them decades ago though.
