I was swimming at that pond I was talking about before in my other thread, and I caught myself a baby bass. Right now its in my 35 gallon. But in like 3 months it will go to my friends private, closed off pond. I'm just wondering how long until it will eat and what to feed it. Right now I have some cichlid flakes and bloodworms that are frozen in a gumdrop shape. Will this do?

:iagree: i used to have 2 little bass about 1.5in and they at guppy fry and one tryed to eat a zebra danio, but unlucky me it choked and died

If you can get it to eat flakes or pellets do it, it will save you money in the long run. Blood worms will also work but you should vary the diet a bit (for the record, I have never had a LMB turn down frozen foods). Feed it other frozen foods, worms, crickets and other live or frozen food items.

he will eat minnos or any kind of feeder or night crawler, you need to try n get him on pellets asap

Mine is 1.5" and he ate as soon as I got him in the tank. He eats flakes, pellets, frozen beefheart, frozen bloodworms, frozen shrimp, and I think he ate a guppy once. They grow really really fast. Mine has grown like .5" in just 2 weeks or so. Good luck really fun fish.
