Well, yesterday I noticed some strange behavior from my two angelfish... At first I thoguht they were trying to eat algae off of my filter tube intake... Then I got a closer look and realized there were eggs scattered on the tube. I couldn't believe it. That was the last thing I was expecting.

So needless to say, I'm going to let them do their thing. I am in the process of moving my SDs out of the tank. I am not going to do anything special besides that.

I just want to see what happens. :D

Thats awesome for you mate. Are these two fish the larger and the smaller one you had? Thats great. I had my angelfish lay eggs in the strangest of places. Once on air-line tubing. If you want to continue to try and breed them (little extra money), use slate rocks. In my experience they are way easier to remove from the tank into a hatching and growout tank.

You should try and raise them. Watch fry grow from pin heads to jar lids is great. The best stage for me is when they were about the size of my thumbnail. Adorable.

Well, enough of me expressing my old memories, GOOD LUCK!

Yup, the same two... I was kind of surprised. I thought the little one I bought a while ago was a male... guess not. lol

Thanks guys.

AWESOME!!! good luck with the babies! get some pix up!

Ok, well the first time didn't work out so well.

But today, their spawning again... I actually got to watch the whole process this time.

We'll see how it goes in a couple of days. :D

I was planning on crushed earthworm flakes and maybe some crushed freeze dried bloodworms...

Is brine shrimp entirely necessary? I know it's popular.
