I Guess im gettin sued copy rite the "M"

Recently, we received a notice that we are being sued for breach of copyright and were given a cease and desist letter for both the word “Monster” and our logo, the “monster M”, despite the fact that the trademarks have been registered since 2005. I think it's silly because they would then have to sue The River Monster people, and all the people on youtube that say Monster in their titles. I don't see how you can possibly copyright a commonly used word that existed before your company lol. They truly are stupid. What about Pixar's Monsters cartoon? The list goes on and on. The "M" in MFK looks nothing like their symbol so it's a non issue. We are not using the monster drink "M" design to promote the website so I don't understand the basis for the lawsuit. Maybe I should go read up on it though lol. It's just silly to think of.

Folks, it's cheap to send a cease and desist letter. It's really not a big deal. The next level (court) is the big deal. That's going to cost them lots of money to prove their side. More than likely not worth their time/money especially if the trademark is rock solid.

Anyway that's just my opinion, what really matters is what the judge thinks and so far this issue hasn't seen a judge.......
