Went fishing today after work for 45 minutes. One guy had caught a snook/gar/muskie (I don't know the difference) on rubber worms . I saw a few swimming and used same type rubber worm. The fish looked around 3 feet long and moving in a group.

I didn't catch any they hit the worms as I reeled it in but didn't hook them and they moved on. Did catch 4 Peacock bass by "accident" lol. First time I ever had them hit rubber worms.

Few guys fishing using shiny fish lures were catching PB left and right. The pics were taken in a hurry as just wanted to put the fish back in water and persue the snook/muskie/gars whatever they were lol. There were huge Mayans and PB hanging out by every canal pipe. The PB I caught were medium not huge.

PBs will will hit anything moving including bare hooks ;)

In my case I have only been able to catch them on shiny fish lures . Those have always worked for me .

They have followed other lures but never hit .Today was different. I am not an expert fisherman lol that goes without saying.
