I had eggs I believe

I just turned on the lights to my tank for the day and took a double take as I saw about 100 small round objects stuck to the intake tube of my filter. I got a pic, but as soon as I turned the lights on and saw them, so did a few of the fish and they pretty much ate them all in like a minute flat. But what's odd to me is that I haven't added any new fish for probably 2 months and I don't have more than one of any species. I know nothing about fish breeding, but don't fish have to sex to get eggs? lol. I'm not even sure which fish it was.

Odd mix I know, but I picked them when I was a noob lol. I have a common pleco, belly crawler pike, angelfish, blue guorami, clown loach, emerald green cory cat, and a pictus cat.

Yeah one of each, never had more than one of anything in the tank. And nothings been added or changed for probably 2 months.

i would guess angel is a female and laid them

If so then she was quite the cannibal, because the angel is the one up front in the pic eating them lol

if its a female angel big enough she will lay eggs regardless if there is a male and yes she will eat them. My guess considering the list would definatly be he angel
