I had him in there with a Green Terror, 2 Africans Rivers and a Jewel. He was constantly chasing and shredding on all of them. I had to take his tail out!!!

I'll say it again: one tough fish!!!

Yup, i think most guys here that have had any contact with the Green will tell you the same thing. 1. Nice fish 2. mean as a snake . I caught a few last year from a very secluded private lake, that is never fished, lots of fallen trees around the edges, using a barbless hook and night crawlers for bait. Beautiful coloration small fish only about 3 inches or so. The water was pristene and these fish were obviously being fed well. The brightest green and orange colors, and the white edges on the fins were bright as well. Was very tempted to keep a couple, but knowing their nature, and not wanting to devote a tank just to them for now....But I still know where they are :)

Bluegills in a tank aren't sloutches....

he means that green sunfish will try to kick the crap out of about every fish out there.

how does that make any sense?

Awesome story.. Thanks for sharing.. I have him in a 10 gallon holding tank for the time-being. He is acting depressed like he knows he's on punishment. lol! I'm going to buy a new 30 gallon bowed front tank for him. He's a great fish.

LE Patron,

I think he means that Bluegill are pretty tough too. I had to take the bluegill out of my 75 gallon that he was in with my warmouth, because he absolutely wouldn't let the warmouth eat.

my green sunfish jumped over my divider and killed my 9 inch arow, 5 inch pbass, and 4 inch oscar. they are vicious and just attack things for no reason
