Nah, just kidding:naughty:
hi all, am relatively new to the forum but i too share a passion for Cats:grinno:,
currently i have 2 RTC(one 4ft,the other 3inches) 4 tsn(from 3ft to 4inches).

However, my 4 ft RTC only has 4 whiskers(naturally). Is this rare??:naughty:
will try to get some pics soon, but u guys may not get to see the whiskers as it is currently 8 ft down in my pond, unless he decides to surface, then i'll run away:nilly:...
hope to hear from the gurus:headbang2 and maybe share some tips:drool:...

Welcome to MFK. Can't wait to see some pics. Love big fat catfish so we expect pics. lol

haha... my RTC has just went back top of the food chain in my pond, after i removed 2 of my 4 ft gars( gave them to a fellow hobbyist who is dying to have them), hence he should be packing on the pounds soon. Sadly, i"ll only be able to have pictures of the rtc, as i am selling my larger tsns to a friend, and they will be leaving tmr. :(

however, are 4 whiskered rtcs rare? am looking for another, but cant seem to find any??

I've seen someone on here with one like that about a year ago, but I can't remember the member. Captive bred catfish generally have all kinds of deformity, probably due to low culling, and high inbreeding.

i see... am currently looking for a hybrid rtc... a small one will do:drool:
but i guess it'll really be impossible or just plain expensive for me to get 1..
maybe selling my 4ft rtc might help:WHOA:....
just a tot, would be :screwy: on my part...
i believe my RTC is one of the most expensive rtcs around, considering it ate tankmates like arowanas, barramundis, my Alibino CAT:irked:, my ABAABA:irked:,my arapaima:irked:.
:cry:why cant we all just get along:cry:

thatz quite an expensive catfish out there
and what was the size of the arapaima gigas when the cat made catfood out of it

probably about a ft and a half...haha... was thinking that a my 10x10x8 would be ok for them, which was true for the first month... funny thing was that my rtc preferred eating him compared to the dozens of wild flowerhorns and convicts that were supposed to be catfood and gigas chow...oh well... no more arapaima... T.T
