I Hate My Country Sometimes(Metal Thread)

Man, immigration is a drag. I got my tickets, I got friday off, I check the website and pow!-

Legendary Swedish death metallers, HYPOCRISY, have issued the following statement in regards to their tour with ENSIFERUM and their current troubles with U.S. immigration:

“We regretfully have to officially announce the cancelation of our tour in North America. We’ve tried everything so far and it seems like the process will take longer than expected for one of the members in the band. We will try to come back as soon as possible, as we want to show our US fans that we care for them and we are ready to play the new songs live!”


NO! The first time I get to go out in months and now this! Are there no metal gods? Can no one contact the president? Maybe I can sneek them in through mexico? Or maybe I'll go to Europe?

Bummer....ensiferum was PHENOMENAL in concert when I saw them...

When did this happen? I was supposed to see them last week in Orlando but ended up not being able to go. I suppose it was for the best. Sucks still but at least i didnt ACTUALLY miss it.

bummer man.. seen them a couple of times.. but why not go to one of the big open airs' next summer? I think americans should get out on one of those, you rarely see you guys on the festivals.. would be cool if a couple of us metal heads met up on say wacken or something?

I saw Einferum and Eliviate last year at Paganfest. Great show but, there was this big sign on the door that said, Absolutely, positively no Viking horns allowed! I told myself that after the show I was gonna steal that sign but, somebody beat me to it! And its only a dream to make it to one of the "Hammerfests" you guys have. Some day...

Wacken will happen one day. Like having a 5000g tank will happen someday. Getting to Germany is a little expensive.

i've had this happen to me TWICE with 2 seperate shows. Rammstein and Lacuna Coil both could not get into the states. I still went to both shows as neither time were the bands headlining, but still I was pissed
