i hate posion ivy!!

ugh to poison ivy. my bosses should pay me extra for the suffering they caused me. i tried the bleach treatment. didnt seem to work to well.

That sucks. Lots of Calamine lotion????
 
I hear ya man I got it soooo bad when I was younger that I had to get the shot (in my behind lol ) and the steriod pills . That sucked. I think I got it now too but I am really really trying not to scratch it. And that's hard to not do
 
yea its been spreading... i think i touched my elbow to my knee and now its all over my knee... none of u have heard of the bleach treatment. google that.
 
extremelly salty water helps dry it out
 
And also..Not to diagnose you, but you NEED to scrub the whole area with soap...Even if it hurts...The irritant is an oil..Oil is not water soluble, soap will emulsify the oils, and make it possible to rise off of you. Then go get benedryl...
 
yuck just seeing you brings back memories of this past summer when i had poison ivy... hate it badly,.i used rubbing alcohol to dry it up... and i took benadryl at night to sleep so i would not itch and scratch..during the day it makes you too sleepy so you have to use creams such as any anti itch ointment....... yuck ....i hate, hate it.. i feel for you...:(
