so today evening my hostel warden walks into my room and says.."i know i gave u permission to keep a tank but now im saying u cant have it so throw it out this instant!!!!!!!"

and then i was like "throw it out????? its a flowerhorn for crying out loud"

of course he doesnt know what a flowerhorn is so he just gave me time till next week to get it out of my room...guess il be giving it to the nearest lfs..

guess my hobbys been put on hold for the next 2 1/2 years
 
I'd kill him and feed him to your flowerhorn, JK,

Seriosly that sucks, sorry to hear that.
 
You could hide the tank inside a cabinet like an entertainment center and close it when the doorbell rings.

I am guessing that they would search for it. Also doing Water changes would be really tricky.

well my room is basically a 4 seater dorm room so theres not much hiding space...moreover they do have constant checks so i cant keep it...

what makes me even more pissed off is that the warden has a 20" tank in his room with all kinds of fish he knows nothing about....i cant say anything to him though coz his dad is the director here so id probably get chucked out!!
