I HATE WALMART!

Went to walmart today to get my 55 gal. Got it home carried it all the way up to my room opened it and then there was a 7" crack running along of the bottom of the tank! I had to pack it back up take it back to walmart and told them i wanted my money back . I was freaking out while i was carrying it out of my house as my mom is telling me to . So i got my money back and had to go to another walmart almost 30 miles away . I get to this walmart and their pet stuff is in the middle of the store and the fish supplies is at the other end . So the guy their was nice and opened the box for us their and we checked it to make sure there weren't any screw ups with it . So I just got it home and put it on the stand and it looks So in the end don't let walmart bend you over..... make them open it there and bend them over

I always open stuff before I buy it whether they say I can or not ... i have two of those tanks and so far so good.. 2 years and no problems

They didnt know it was cracked. It was sealed in the box. Pallets shift in transit and things break. You should have checked it before you bought it. But yeah, that sucks.

You shouldn't ahve bought it from wal-mart. lol My step dad has a little 10 gallon that we got him for fathers day and it's not built the same as a pet shop tank. It seems like the glass is a lot thinner.

Same, depending on the product I will pick it up and walk to a secluded aisle and open it just to make sure it's there.

here is something my dad always told me to, if u cant check the item you are purchasing in the store, after u buy it, check it outside in the parking lot before you leave to your house. aside from that glad the tank is working out, what do you plan to stock it with?
