I have 2 Oscars one is about 8 inches the other 6 inches in a 125-gallon aquarium. my parents want to tile the basement and I have nowhere to put them so they have to go asap.

Sorry to hear that. You could post them on the Marketplace Forum here or take them to a lfs. The lfs probably won't give you back what you payed for them.

Maybe move the tank into another room/garage till done?

Set up tank at a feiends/relative till done?

I have heard of LFS renting out tank space/care for short periods of time.

I also kinda want to get rid of them so I can focus on fancy goldfish. I'm just not ready for monsters yet.

sell them on craigslist. in my experience its a great way to let pedophiles into your home.
