so ive finished my 310 gal tank now... its gonna b stocked within the next 3 weeks...
so now im tryin to think what to do with my 55 gal.... i mean most of the fish in the big tank r the real monsters... snakeheads, knifefish, catfish and polypteruses...
so i was thinking why not do up my 55 gal with colorful fish...
i dont know why but lately ive been really interested in those blood parrot/flowerhorn or jack dempsey mixes. i hate flowerhorns/jack dempsies and i hate blood parrots... but the mix of them just looks kool...
but ofcourse they r not easy to come by so i figured ill breed them myself... other than that i was thinkin maybe some discuss...
wud a pair of discus be alright in a 55? with a couple bp/fh?

cuz that wud be pretty cool

I would just use the 55gal as a sump, and I think you should write a big cheque to me, that is how you can use your big budget... :D

you can keep 4 discus in a 55 without a problem.

Discus should be kept with primarly cardinals. Most other cichlids would potentially kill a discus. Since you have good funding, a planted Discus community with CO2, 210 watts of lighting, RO water, would be cool.
