I...have received "financial support" over the past few days, and I'm starting to convert my 125g freshwater over to saltwater.
I have questions....#1, I want to keep about 10 of these fish that are in this tank. (1 pictus catfish, female swordtail, and 8 or so schooling [the name escapes me at the moment] tetras.)
I was planning on putting them in a 40g breeder, thanks to petco's $1 per gallon sale, but I need to conserve most of my money to the saltwater tank...So how should I go around doing this?
Second question is...Would these fish become arowana 'chow' if I were to get a silver, grow it out to about 18 inches or so, and then put them in the same tank? No...I'm not putting the 18" arowana in a 40g breeder. That's just temporary for the fish I want to keep...I don't want to have a million tanks running. Only a couple, nice looking ones...So, could I? The tank the arowana would be in would be between 250 and 400 gallons, btw.
Thanks for the help in advance....And does anyone want 3 6" tinfoil barbs and about 10 tiger barbs?
