I am building a plywood tank. How do I figure out how many sheets of 4x8 plywood I need?

Heres the cuts:
Bottom = 68 " x 48"
Front = 68 " x 23 1/4"
Back = 68 " x 23 1/4"
2 Sides = 23 1/4 " x 46 1/2"
2 Top Brace = 46 1/2 " x 6"

Draw it out on paper. A sheet of plywood is 96 by 48. I think you could get by with 4 sheets, 1 for the bottom 1 sheet for the front and back, one sheet for the sides, maybe try to find some scrap or buy a partial sheet for your tops.

One sheet for the bottom this would leave a 28"x48" piece which could do one side. The same would happen with the one sheet for the front and back.

So only two 4'x8' sheets total and I would use dimensional lumber for the bracing.

What do you mean dimensional lumber? Sorry I dont know anything about wood.

Are the two paints/epoxys listed on GARF the only options for sealing the wood?
