I have a predicament.

Tomorrow I'm going to the harry potter premiere, a special 7pm advanced screening , and I was going to go by myself and then sit with some of my friends.
Now, one of my friends parents have decided they want to come. I can't imagine it will be fun lol, so I was going to go hang with some OTHER friends, inviting my friends that I was hanging with in the first place over with me. But they'll probably say no, and they'll want to hang out with their...parents.
So,
I'm stuck. Because I want to hang out with these friends of mine, but it'll be a major killjoy if we're stuck with their parents all the time...which will be like 6hrs btw...

What does it matter if your friends parents go? You're still seeing the movie right?

Besides, don't you need parental supervision under the age of 10?

If you really are a good friend, you wouldn't bail simply because their parents are there. If the friends are true friends of yours, you will want to develop a good relationship with their parents. You will come to know this as truth as you continue to grow and mature. Until then... listen to your elders!
