I have a whisker question.

Almost 2 years old, and my Channel Cat finally got into his first altercation with his food.
Larger than average crawdad clamped down on one of his whiskers. It didnt cut it off, but its cut almost all the way through and kind of bent-ish.
I was just curious if the whiskers on these guys regenerate, or am I going to have to change his name from Flippy to Loppy.

When I picked up my tsn he had a bent whisker. Within 7-10 days it was completely fine.

They will regenerate, but the regrown whiskers might not look the same as the originals. They are normally shorter and can remain bent at strange angles
