I currently have a breeding trio of Parrot Cichlid's and as most people know the males are 99% infertile.

I do however have a lovely male Vieja Synspilum that I would love to breed with my female parrots.

I was wondering how best I would go about this? Tank Set Up, Filtration, Filters, Heating, etc..

I read somewhere that to create a Flowerhorn you would need Parrot, Vieja and something else into one fish so like breed a parrot with a vieja, and then breed the baby's from that with one more fish and then viola, you have a Flowerhorn.

I don't know how accurate this is but the offspring of a Vieja and parrot would be a very interesting thing to see anyways.

Thanks in advance,
Jack.

Are you talking about blood parrots? I've never heard of anyone breeding actual parrots (Hoplarchus psittacus) with anything besides other parrots.

Also, you may have better luck in the breeding section...
